Marwan is a painter, first and lasty, but he is also a mystic whose creative power is based equally in Western and Arab traditions, through which an inner beauty emerges in his paintings. It is a magic that is not static. In the stillness of his images, we sense movement in the emptiness of an eye we apprehend the universe. The tracings of the hand endeavors to unlock the voice of the heart and join it to the sound of the worlds.
