Born in Amman-Jordan 1945, the daughter of a traditional Moslem family and overwhelmed by her dream of becoming a creative artist, she decided at the age of seventeen to break the family rules and escape from home towards Paris. After spending a few months in Beirut, where she held her first drawing exhibition, she continued to ship to Paris and joined the Ecole des Beaux Arts. She created her first sculpture in stone in 1965 and since then her creation of forms never ceased.
